136.8 miles
Woke up this morning to 35 degrees and snow falling. It melted almost as soon as it touched the ground. Another wind advisory - getting so sick and tired of wind, at home for the past few months and now during this road trip.
By the time we reached Pocatello we had enough of being pushed around the freeway so set the GPS for Heyburn avoiding highways. What an interesting experience that turned out to be!

| Desert-like with wind turbines |
| Most of the way we followed the Snake River and paralleled Hwy 84 |
This stretch included a dirt road section - think we saw 3 vehicles in total over the course of at least 1.5 hours |
| We crossed the Snake River at least 6 times today! |
| A small park across the street from our campsite and the Snake River |
| This is a city campground, beautifully maintained and in a lovely area. |
